An excursion to the waterfall Los Reyes is recommended to travellers who have an adventurous inclination only.
The stony path to Daniels refreshment hut is by no means difficult; however the descent to the waterfall is undoubtedly easier said than done! Good sturdy shoes are therefore advisable.
The little lake that the waterfall pours into was completely covered in due to the disastrous effect of the hurricane Paulina in 1997. Since then a large amount of sand and earth has been washed out again and the lake is back even if it's not yet its original size and depth !!
