Playa la Mina can be reached roughly after a 40 minute walk from Puerto Angel by heading in an eastern direction on the main road to Pochutla.
Just leave Puerto Angel where about 500 meters later you turn off to your right and follow the gravel path all the way to the coast. Another possibility of getting there would be by boat.

Playa la Mina is a small beach with a middle to weak surf and has an ideal cove for swimming and snorkeling. It is advisable to take essential provisions and equipment if you intend coming here as it lacks infrastructure completely.
You may run into some local inhabitants at the weekend, otherwise it is a quite spot where one is undoubtedly alone with one's thoughts in the beauty of a natural setting.
