Playa del Panteon, a beach situated a little to the west of Puerto Angel, is a fine alternative for families with small children as its calm water and gentle waves prove ideal for swimming or just simply, splashing around in !!. It has therefore earned the name "baby beach", an expression used sometimes by its visitors. The real name originates from the cemetery, a stone throw away on the opposite side.

The area around the island, simply called "Islote" is rocky and may be the very place to chance a little dip under the water to observe a whole selection of multi coloured fish. Equipment for snorkeling can be rented out at the beach.

Additionally almost every restaurant on the beachfront offer those interested in boat tours a wide choice ranging from a normal sightseeing tour to snorkeling and diving jaunts. Depending on the time of year and a little bit of luck you are likely to see dolphins, turtles or even whales.
